Easy Skateboard Tricks



Skateboarding is becoming popular to young and adults as this sport gives much excitement and challenged when played. Learning the basic skills involves learning the three easy skateboard tricks, which also happen to be the basic and from which many variations have come about.

The basic skateboard tricks are the flip, Ollie and kicks. Once these three techniques have been mastered, there are countless possibilities of tricks that can result using variation of these three and even with combinations of the basics. Let us start off with the Olli.

This is a very popular trick and skill in executing this trick is a prerequisite of many, if not almost all, of the other tricks.

The Ollie is similar to a jump with your deck on. To do the Ollie, the front foot should be positioned in the middle of the deck while the other foot is at the tip of the deck.

While going through, you push the deck using your Back foot to send it in the air with you then push hard with your front foot to land the deck on the ground.

The Ollie can take several tries to master so just keep on practicing on. There are many tricks which can be done by making variations of the Ollie- these include Ollie on ramps, etc.

Another one on the list of easy skateboard tricks is the flip is literally a skateboard flip in which you flip the deck and it happens while you are in the air. The flip can be 180 like in its variation called the pop shove it.

The trick to master this is to use one of your feet to turn the deck and jump in mid air and catch the board with your feet again as you land. The third basic is the kick.

The kick has many variations but in essence, it is literally kicking and applying force from your one foot to the deck to send it to spinning, flipping and any mid air actions like the flip kick.

In this trick, the player has to consider proper foot positioning for elevation, balance and landing control. This is not a fairly easy trick and requires patience and practice. These may be easy skateboard tricks but always wear safety gears for you protection if you want to practice them out.
